“Making sure our Motives are sincere.”
Hello everyone! “Proverbs 21:2 (NIV version) reads “A person may think their own ways are right, but the LORD weighs the heart.” Powerful Bible scripture right here on why we should always do things with the right and sincere intentions and not having other ulterior motives. Think of how it felt when someone especially who was close to you, rather it be a friend or close acquaintance to do something nice and kind only to find out later that they had other motives and bought it up to your face and memory every time of what they did for you. They did something with the intent of wanting something back and not just because they sincerely cared. It doesn’t feel so good and feels like we were mislead and downright deceived. In the same way, whenever we do something nice for anyone let’s do it unto the Lord Jesus and with a sincere heart and expect nothing in return from them. Also there is no need to broadcast it or tell anyone else about your good deeds but the Lord Jesus and those individuals themselves will know about it. Sometimes you can even help people without them knowing it was you helping them by just doing it! Let’s ask our Heavenly Father to help us to keep our heart, our motives and our intentions pure sincere! The Holy Spirit will guide us in this!! Hallelujah!! Praise the LORD and thank you Jesus!!

Wow, my brother that is so true a lot of times we are caught up and coming alongside people doing whatever they need done but our intentions is always getting something out of it. What about me? What about me? What about me great aspect brother thank you for sharing.

When thinking about doing something for someone, I often question myself – am I doing this out of love?

I agree some people act as though they are doing it from the heart.
Then later you find out they have high expectations as if you have to be obligated to them Throw up I did this and that you owe me this favor.
