Being Merciful

Greetings!  Micah 6:8 (NIV version) reads “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.  And what does the LORD require of you?  To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”  The gospel of Matthew 5:7 (NIV version and said by Jesus Christ Himself) reads “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.”  Powerful Bible scriptures here instructing us on the importance of mercy and being merciful!  We are ALL in need of God/Jesus mercy for we all fall short and so therefore we should always strive to show and extend mercy and grace to others.   This not to say that there are no consequences for wrong doing but none of us are perfect and need mercy!

When we show mercy, kindness and compassion to others it will come back to us.  Jesus Christ Himself mentions that in Matthew 5:7 which we just read above in reference to mercy.  When we show mercy, love, compassion, and humility, the world 🌎 and our surrounding communities will be a much better place ❤️!!  We all are need of mercy daily so let’s together practice and show mercy when the opportunity presents themselves and they will.  We can and will do this together!  Peace ✌️ ☮️ 🕊 and love ❤️!!
