"Fueling Faith, Igniting Hope, and Inspiring Change!"

Anyone can change for the better

“Anyone can change for the better.”

Greetings! 1 Timothy 1:12-17 (NIV version) reads “I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners – of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.” Powerful Bible scripture right here! The Apostle Paul is speaking of himself of how he use to be because Jesus Christ changed his heart ❤️. The Apostle Paul (when he was called Saul) was a persecutor against the Christian church and sought to destroy the Christian faith until he was converted and had a change of heart. The Apostle Paul is saying in essence that if God/Jesus can change his heart anybody has the ability to be changed.

We have to also look at ourselves (especially those of us who are in Christ Jesus) how the Lord Jesus has changed us and is daily working on us. Think of who we use to be and how we use to think before Jesus Christ came into our lives. If you are not saved or not in Christ Jesus and are reading this know that this is for you to and that there is hope for you as long as you are breathing! Romans 10:9-10 reads “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” It is really that simple. I beg of you and urge you to please receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior (if you haven’t already) and your life will never be the same. It is the BEST decision I ever made and you will NOT EVER regret it!

Ecclesiastes 9:4 (NIV version) reads 📚 “Anyone who is among the living has hope – even a live dog is better off than a dead lion!” In other words as long as you or anyone else who is alive inspite of who they are or what they have done have hope! There are plenty of people throughout history who once did horrible things but with the power of God/Jesus at work did end up changing their ways to doing good in society and helping people. As we just read earlier the Apostle Paul is an example. I’m also reminded of examples of former gang members and leaders who later on changed their lives and advised other young people not to follow their path just to name a few.

So going forward let’s all remember that when we see others going astray let’s pray for them and show mercy. People can change. Let’s extend the same grace as we would want extended to us because TRUTH be told we ALL need it! With the power of the Holy Spirit people’s heart can and will change so let’s pray for their hearts and minds to change! We can and will do this together so that our communities and the world 🌎 will be a better place!! Peace ✌️ ☮️ 🕊 and love ❤️!!
