“Watching our associations and who we are connected to.”
Greetings everyone! Proverbs 13:20 (NIV version) reads “Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.” Proverbs 22:24-25 (NIV version) reads “Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person, do not associate with one easily angered, or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared.” WOW! This right here stated is all true and pretty profound on how we must be serious and careful about our associations! People tend to judge us by the company we keep and to be honest you can just about tell how a person is by the people that they tend to hang around and associate with. It is true that each of us (you and me) are our own unique individual(s) however we end up taking some or perhaps a lot of the characteristics of those we tend to hang around and spend our time with on a daily basis which is why we must choose our friends and associations very wisely. Time is of the essence and we do not want to waste it around the wrong people who will eventually bring us down!
The key is having the right friends and associations in our personal lives/circles. We want to be around people who are going to enhance and grow and even at times challenge us to be better. It should go both ways as well as us being reciprocal from our ends as we pour and add value to them as well! That is healthy and so needed! What we want and desire we should also be willing to pour out and give in some shape or form. If you are having a hard time finding the right associations and connections please pray to our Heavenly Father in Jesus Mighty Name asking Him to lead you to the right people and the Holy Spirit will surely guide you! Believe me I know and am a witness to this!
So with all this being said let’s seek to find and keep the right associations and connections around us which in the long term will grow and enhance us to be better! We all have the potential to be winners and to be successful in life and we definitely will be with God/Jesus on our side and the right connections and associations!
