“The Power of Humility”

Greetings! 1 Peter 5:5-6 (NIV version) reads “In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.” Proverbs 25:6-7 (NIV version) reads “Do not exalt yourself in the king’s presence, and do not claim a place among his great men; it is better for him to say to you, “Come up here,” than for him to humiliate you before his nobles.” Both are powerful Bible scriptures here explaining the importance of humility and why we should practice it daily! There is no need to be boastful and to brag since as disciples of Jesus Christ God is the one who will lift us up in due season! We must serve and do our assignments and tasks with a grateful heart unto the Lord Jesus and He will reward us accordingly!

Being humble is not always an easy thing to do especially in the culture that we are in today with many people wanting to brag and toot their own horn to get recognition. As disciples and believers in Christ Jesus we are to be set apart and to lead by example. With the help of God/Jesus and the leading of the Holy Spirit we can ALL do this together! So with the above mentioned lets all strive to work and live with a spirit of both excellence and humility! Together we will change the world 🌎 and our surrounding communities for the better!!
