Showing Respect to Everyone

“Showing Respect to Everyone.”

Greetings!  Matthew 7:12 (NIV version and said by Jesus Christ Himself) reads “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.”  Luke 6:31 (NIV version and also said by Jesus Christ Himself) reads “Do to others as you would have them do to you.”  Both are powerful Bible scriptures right here!  Both of these scriptures are cross references to each other and both convey the concept of the golden rule in treating others with the same kindness, respect etc that you yourself would want to be treated with.   It is really that simple and we must be always intentional about doing this and applying this concept in everything we do.  It’s imperative that we do so.

Having a proper understanding of perspective helps in that we must put ourselves in other people’s shoes to see how we would feel if we are on the receiving end of any kind of treatment.  Everyone wants to be treated with dignity and respect and deserves so including you and me.  We do not always have to agree to be respectful to each other and still have our own viewpoints, individuality and still be civil.  Yes this is possible but we must be intentional about this on a daily basis.  Again it does not mean we compromise who we are as individuals but we show dignity and respect to others and treat them as we would want someone to treat us.  Plus we can and should always learn something from each others differences.

With this being said let’s treat everyone with dignity, respect and kindness.  When we do this together the world 🌎 and our surrounding communities will be a much better place.  Let’s together be the change for the better!  We can and will do this together!  Peace ✌️ ☮️ 🕊 and love ❤️!!
