“Remaining calm under pressure.”
Greetings everyone! Ecclesiastes 10:4 (NIV version) reads “If a ruler’s anger rises against you, do not leave your post; calmness can lay great offenses to rest.” Ever had anyone of authority such as your boss/supervisor get angry with you about a certain situation (whether you were at fault or not or just a simple misunderstanding)? I’m sure at one point we have all experienced this at some point in our lives (for even little children usually are afraid when they have upset their parents which we can for most part relate to at one point in time). To get to the point it is not a pleasant experience and can be quite unpleasant causing emotions of possible fear and anxieties. In the midst of all this we must learn how to master the art of being CALM and not be in reactive and panic mode but rather THINK and be proactive.
When we are calm we are able to think clearly and process things a whole lot better. When we are calm we are in a better state of mind and able to make sound and wise decisions which is why we should always strive to be calm! Being calm saves us a whole lot of unnecessary stress and will even help to clear any misunderstandings that there might be thus laying great offenses to rest. It benefits all of us to be calm and to keep our composure.
So together let us ALL strive to be calm, cool and collective! We all have the ability to do this so that we can be better for ourselves and more equipped to make sound decisions thus impacting society and the world for the better! Let’s do this! Calmness it is! Peace ✌️ ☮️ 🕊 and love ❤️!!
