“Learning to be still.”
Greetings everyone! Psalm 46:10 (NIV version) reads “He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Here in the Bible God/Jesus Himself is telling us to be still and to reverence Him. Learning to be still is not always an easy thing to do in today’s world since we are bombarded and hit with so much. You can physically be still but if your mind is not still you are still not reaping the full benefits of being still nor truly enjoying the presence of God/Jesus thus mounting up anxiety and unnecessary troubles and internal struggles within. Learning how to be still while experiencing the presence of God/Jesus is key and vital to having overall good health and a quality of life!
On another note along with prayer, making sure our external environment where spend most of our time in is also a key factor in perhaps us experiencing stillness. Maybe having aroma therapy in your personal space such as plants 🪴 (fake plants are good to if you don’t have a green thumb), a diffuser with relaxing essential oils, or a table top water fountain, or nice soft relaxing music, beautiful pictures etc might help in you getting still. Being around nature and observing nature can also help you to be still and be in awe of God/Jesus beautiful creation! Us together learning to be still is so important and crucial to our overall health!
So let’s all together each and everyday strive to learn and put into practice the art of learning to be still! We can all do this together so that we can all be better and and influence the world to be a better place! It starts with each of us doing our part so let’s be still! Peace ✌️ ☮️ 🕊 and love ❤️!!
Thank you so much Wallace! ❤️
Be still! I am currently in this season.
Jesus is requiring for me to be still and remember that he is God. No matter what I’m currently going through God is still God. I can’t wait for the spring time to visit Botanical Garden. Nature is so beautiful! 🪴
You are so very welcome!! Praise the LORD and thank you Jesus!! Yes this is something we all need to learn to do! Being still takes practice! Being in nature and in the gardens is a great choice! Love it!
