Being mindful and careful of what we allow to feed our spirits

“Being mindful and careful of what we allow to feed our spirits.”

Greetings everyone! Song of Solomon or Song of Songs 2:15 (NIV version) reads “Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are in bloom.” This is a very powerful and profound scripture here! It is very applicable to life as we must be careful of the things that we allow into our personal spaces and in our hearts and minds. We must be careful of what we allow to feed into our spirits and it even goes down to even the things we might watch and hear. If it adds no value to you (even if it is quite enticing) you and I might want to avoid that at all costs! By being gatekeepers of what we allow within ourselves will save us a lot heartache and pain in the long term!

Having a daily and strong prayer life, listening to the Holy Spirit and having true accountability partners can help us greatly in watching out for those “little foxes” or those things which seek to distract and throw us off our course in going forward to be better. Being mindful and aware of those subtle small “little foxes” is the first step and then doing something about it is the next. Many people both famous and unknown have all had fallen due to those “little foxes” that were not properly checked and addressed in the beginning stages thus causing grief and heartache.

So going forward we are going to be aware of our own personal “little foxes and subtle issues” that seek to throw us off course and address them accordingly! We are better together and need each other and so I encourage us all here to continue to work on ourselves to be better versions of ourselves each and everyday! We can do this! Peace โœŒ๏ธ โ˜ฎ๏ธ ๐Ÿ•Š and love โค๏ธ!!
