“Receiving our blessings from the unexpected.”
Greetings! Isaiah 45:13 (NIV version) reads “I will raise up Cyrus in my righteousness: I will make all his ways straight. He will rebuild my city and set my exiles free, but not for a price or reward, says the LORD Almighty.” Also Isaiah 44:28 (NIV version) reads “who says of Cyrus, ‘He is my shepherd and will accomplish all that I please; he will say of Jerusalem, “Let it be rebuilt,” and of the temple, “Let its foundations be laid.” ‘ Here lies a powerful and awesome message in these two Bible scriptures! King Cyrus was used by God/Jesus to return and restore the Jewish ✡️ people back to their land and to even rebuild their temple and even contributed financially to it! Here is the thing that might be a surprise, Cyrus was not one of God’s faithful followers at all and was even a foreigner but yet he was used by God/Jesus to be a blessing to the Jewish people!
This can even apply to our lives today. The blessings that we receive from God/Jesus might come from an unexpected messenger and packaged differently. God/Jesus can use someone from a different belief value and even moral codes to be of a blessing to us! That is why we should never limit and box God/Jesus in to our narratives and be open to however He chooses to bless us! We will have a peace about it to when we know it’s from Him inspite of how the messenger or messengers appear.
So with that being said, I want to encourage us all to be receptive to receiving how God/Jesus chooses to bless us! There is so much that is available to us and that we can be grateful for. Let’s all do this together so we can TRULY enjoy all that God/Jesus has in store for us! Peace ✌️ ☮️ 🕊 and love ❤️!!
